Tell a Silly Story

"If you can be funny, it means you’re intelligent. Your brain is working fast”
— Agnes Repplier

If you were to make up a nonsense story—or even a sensible story—using the statement and pictures above, what would you create? Might your story be something like this?

Long long ago and far far away, there was a gallaxy with a planet that looked like earth, but was very different. For example, animals had strange colors and didn’t act like they would on earth, so cats could not climb trees but dogs could. It was the strangest thing you could imagine.

As many different stories can be told with these unrelated pictures as there are people who can create them.

The Tell a Silly Story game challenges people of all ages to keep their brains active by connecting unrelated people, phrases, animals, things, places, seasons, etc. into a story.

The game is designed for grandparents to play with their children, their grandchildren, and their friends. It is also designed for children to play with one another. You can play the game by yourself and challenge yourself to write a story simply to exercise the brain.

This unique game can help keep brain cells active throughout life.

We encourage you to design your own rules for the game in order to maximize your pleasure and your creativity.
